Tell us a little bit about your growing family!

We were a family of 2 and now we are 3! Hopefully in the future we can give siblings to baby Alejandro to play with.

How is your newborn baby doing?

Baby Alejandro is growing so fast by the day! We are blessed to have him with us.

How did you come up with baby's name?

Baby's full name is Alejandro Maximus. We decided to give the baby first name Dad's middle name, Alejandro. His middle name is actually somewhat of a funny story. We saw Gladiator (the movie) and we really liked Maximus as middle name so we named him after the main character. We think it goes really well with his first name!

Favorite thing about being a mom?

I think one of my favorite things about being a mom is having a mini version of us. To think that our baby is half me is an indescribable feeling.

What’s the hardest part about being a mom to a newborn?

The sleeping schedule! I think the hardest part is to try to find balance between sleeping and feeding the baby. Thankfully between the two of us we are managing to find that balance between proper sleeping and giving the baby his proper meals!

What pregnancy and parenting books did you read? Were they helpful?

We haven't read any books about parenting yet but we have gotten good resources about how to take care of a baby from breast feeding courses!

Words of wisdom for other families?

We are no experts on parenting but give plenty of love to your baby! I'm sure he or she will grow up knowing that they had plenty of love by their parents!
